Menu/Icon Description
Upload>
Update Parameter Set = In online mode and if communications are OK, reads
and uploads drive parameters that correspond to the parameter set being
updated. The parameter set is overwritten with the uploaded parameter values.
Base Device Complete = In online mode and if communications are OK,
generates a parameter set by reading all base unit parameters.
Base Unit: Changes Only = In online mode, if communications are OK, and if
the actual drive supports that function, generates a parameter set by reading the
changed parameters only.
Technology Module = Function not yet supported for North American
operations.
Base Unit and Technology Module = Function not yet supported for North
American operations.
Execute Script
Function not yet supported for North American operations.
Script-Editor
Function not yet supported for North American operations.
Close Device Down
If one or more drive windows are opened, closes the actual drive window.
Parameter Set Last
Dealt With>
List four most recently accessed parameter sets for easy recall.
Exit
Permanently closes all opened drive windows and exists EasyComm.
View Menu
Menu/Icon Description
Offline
Selects offline operation.
Online (RAM) Selects online-RAM operation. (Changes made in the drive are lost at power
failure. )
Online (EEPROM)
Selects online-EEPROM operation. (Changes made in the drive are saved,
even after a power failure.)
Parameter View
Enables/disables display of the table of contents list at the left-hand side of the
EasyComm screen.
Toolbar
Enables/disables display of the main Toolbar at the top of the EasyComm
screen.
Statusbar
Enables/disables display of the Status bar at the bottom of the EasyComm
screen.
Drive Navigator Bar
Enables/disables display of the Drive Navigator Toolbar at the top of the
EasyComm screen.
