Startup
1. Reapply SED2 supply power.
2. Set P0010=30 (commissioning parameter filter,
factory setting) and P0970=1 (factory reset,
parameter reset).
3. Initiate factory level parameter access by
setting P0003=4 and P3950=46.
4. View r0200 and P0201 and confirm they are
equal.
• If the values of r0200and P0201 are equal,
continue with the Step 5.
• If the values of r0200and P0201 are not
equal, note the value of r0200 here:
Then, change P0201 to the same value as
r0200.
NOTE: r0200=0 indicates that no power stack
has been identified. If this happens,
recycle SED2 power off/on and go to
the beginning of Step 2. If it happens
again, contact your field support.
After changing the value of P0201 to match the
value of r0200, recycle SED2 power off/on and
verify that the values are the same.
5. Reconfigure drive for the application.
a. Manually program parameters per the
settings recorded in the Parameter List
section at the end of this document.
b. Use the AOP to download the SED2
parameter set according to the Download
Parameter Set section.
6. Set P0010=1 (commissioning parameter filter,
quick commissioning) and P3900=3 (end quick
commissioning and recalculate only motor data
without resetting the SED2 I/O to factory
defaults).
7. If on a network, recycle SED2 power off/on
again. Set P0918 to the network address
recorded in the Installation procedures.
This completes startup.
Download Parameter Set
Use an AOP to download the stored parameter set
to the SED2. See the SED2 VFD Advanced
Operator Panel (AOP) Operating Instructions,
Document Number 125-3206 for more details on
AOP operation.
1. From the main menu, use
and to scroll
through the list of options and to highlight the
Download item.
Press
to confirm the selection. Press to
cancel the download process.
The AOP displays a download menu.
2. Use
and to scroll through the list of
parameter sets and to highlight the parameter
set from which information will be copied.
Press
to confirm the selection.
3. The AOP prompts for confirmation.
Press
to confirm the selection. Press to
cancel the download process.
The AOP displays a wait screen while the
download process occurs.
4. On completion of the download process, the
AOP returns to the main menu.
NOTES:
If the download fails, perform the following:
1. Reset SED2 parameters: Commissioning
Parameter P0010=30 for factory settings and
Factory Reset Parameter P0970=1 to reset
all parameters to their default values.
2. Cycle SED2 power off/on.
3. Repeat the download process.
