Installation guidelines Warning! Do not disassemble valve drives and limit switch boxes. Valves could sustain damage or their function is impeded and they do not release. Tubes must be laid out without tension. Fit selector valves to wall constructions only and not to machine parts. Use spanners to handle the selector valves according product data sheet. Keep them in a secure place near the selector valves. Assembly of the valves 1.

Pneumatic connections Project specific, assemble on-site Refer to the Installation guidelines Installation diagram (look upwards). Installation Guidelines For the tubes to fit properly, all fittings must meet requirements. Warning! Improper assembly leads to malfunctions and impedes safety. Preparing the tubes 1. Saw off the tube at a right angle. Angle deviations up to 0.5° to the tube axis are within tolerance. Do not use a tube cutter! 2. Remove any ridges from the tube's inner and outer cutting edges.

Connection of the pneumatic control line with "Swagelok“ 1. Push the tube to the stop into the tube connection. 2. Tighten the union nut by hand. 3. Mark the six o’clock position of the Swagelok union nut. 4. Hold the body with the spanner and tighten the union nut by 1 ¼ rotations. The marking should now point to the 9 o'clock position. 5. Maintenance instructions Warning! Removal, replacement or repair of the valve or actuator seals by any party other than Siemens is prohibited. To ensure that a selector valve will remain functional following long periods of inactivity, it must be operated pneumatically at least every six months. Isolation valves must be manually operated at least every six months. Maintenance requirements Valves are to be subject to routine maintenance and inspection.
