ACU2 Networked Intelligent Controller
Figure 1. APOGEE Security Technologies’
ACU2 networked intelligent controller.
Description
The ACU2 Networked Intelligent Controller features
state-of-the-art technology optimizing both the
flexibility and reliability required for today’s access
control and alarm monitoring environment.
Using a 16-bit microprocessor, the ACU2 is available
with up to 4 MB RAM and up to 512 KB ROM, to
provide complete flexibility in card populations of up
to 128,000 together with the widest possible range
of programmable features.
By utilizing external RIM and RRM input and relay
output modules, the ACU2 can monitor and control
large numbers of alarms and relays up to 4,000 ft.
from the ACU2.
