13 Default Access/Security Levels
As explained in the LMSmodular Configuration Guide, Section 4.2.6, each operator is
assigned an access level, which is a number in the range 0-9. Each menu and function
in LMS is assigned a security level, which is also a number 0-9. If the access level of
the operator is not equal to or greater than the security level of the menu or function,
the operator will not be able to utilise that menu or function. In fact, LMS displays only
those options which the current operator can access.
The following list shows the recommended usage of each security level.

0 Event treatment and Operator change, possibly without Login
1 Level 0, plus Operator logout
2 (Reserved for future use)
3 (Reserved for future use)
4 Level 3, plus CCTV subsystem management
5 Level 4, plus CMX subsystem management
6 Level 5, plus CZ10 subsystem management
7 Level 6, plus CZ12/CS4 subsystem management,
Guard Tour and Access Control subsystems
8 (Reserved for future use)
9 System Manager Level: has access to all functions, including the Date/Time
Command, and the WINDOWS/E.T. Environments.
Each level has all the capabilities of the previous levels. For example, Level 5 has ac-
cess to all of the functions available to Levels 0-4, plus his own specific function, CMX
management.
