Indications:
Spiral mode for routine neck studies, e.g. tumors,
lymphoma, abscesses, etc.
A typical range of 17 cm covered in 8 sec.
Contrast medium IV injection
Start delay exam dependent
Flow rate dependent upon needle size/Access site
Total amount 1 – 2 ml per kg of body weight
* The conversion factor for an 8-week-old, and a scan
range of 80 mm was used.
