· QAX913, Synco living Central Apartment Unit: Central and wireless control of up to 12 rooms. Receives
data from room temperature controller, meteo sensor, window contacts and sends commands to the radi-
ator control actuators and heating demands to the heating controller.
·
QAA910, Synco living Room Temperature Sensor: Measures the room temperature and sends the data to
the central apartment unit.
· AP260, Synco living Window Contact: Detects the status of the windows/doors and sends the values to
the central apartment unit.
· RRV918, Synco living Heating circuit controller: Controls up to 8 heating circuit based on the com-
mands from the apartment unit (setpoints, operating mode).
· STA23, Electrothermal actuator: Controls the radiator valve.
· UP 258E21, Presence detector: Detects presence of people and measures the brightness in the room.
Control commands are sent to the light actuator and to the apartment unit. The presence detector makes
sure that the artificial light is off when the room is not occupied or when enough natural light is available
and the room operating mode is switched to pre-comfort (reduced temperature setpoint).
· N 526/02, Switch/dim actuator: Switches and dims the lights to the received setpoint.
· N 523/11, Venetian blind actuator: Controls the blinds according to the received commands.
· UP 222, Wall switch: For operation of the lights and blinds.
· AP 257/22, Weather station: Measures the wind speed and the brightness. When exceeding the speed-
limit the weather station sends a
command to the blind actuator to drive into a safe position. When the sun
is shining the blinds are driven into a position to keep off the sun radiation. The weather station supports
the functions sunlight tracking and shadow outline tracking.
· RMH760B, Heating controller: The heating controller controls the heating plant in dependence on the
heating demands sent by the central apartment units.
· OZW772.16, Web-Server: The web server offers a central remote operation of the heating, lighting and
shading of the whole building.
Room temperature
control
The temperature of each classroom is acquired and controlled. The heat demand from each room is acquired and
transmitted to the primary plant. Non-
occupancy periods during the night can be programmed for each room. During
these time periods, the room temperatures are automatically reduced. Open windows are automatically detected
and room temperatures lowered to save heating energy. Also during the day when the rooms are not occupied, the
room temperature setpoints are slightly lowered.
