Capacity: 200 ampere continuous - 600 volts a.c.

Application: 1or 3 phase, 3 wire and 3 wire network services using self-contained Class 100 or Class 200 meters (ANSI form 12S). The

HQ-5ND and HQ-5NDU devices are specifically designed for 3 phase, 3 wire ungrounded services when it is desirable to open

the common phase and remove potential from the load when the meter is removed. The center phase is equipped with a 200

amp sliding clamp disconnect that is operable by a nut and captive Belleville washer.

Enclosures: Ringless cover. Constructed of 16 gauge galvannealed steel with polyester powder coat suitable for indoor or outdoor

installation. Also available in 12 gauge aluminum upon request. All enclosures are NEMA type 3R.

Block Assembly: Glass fiber reinforced polyester. High strength arc and track resistant.

Bypass: Lever operated jaw release. Full 200 ampere capacity. Moving lever up closes bypass and releases pressure on meter terminals.

Cover cannot be replaced with lever in bypassed position.

Terminals: Lay-in type with dome point screw. Conservatively rated at 200 amperes, terminals will accommodate conductors from #1 to

350 MCM copper or aluminum.

Hubs: Single removable gasketless hub, cover plate or no hub. Hubs and cover plate are interchangeable.

UL: These mounting devices are listed by UL for use on loads up to 200 amp 600 volts a.c.

Safety Shield: Track resistant polycarbonate insulating safety shield provides protection from accidental shorts and shocks.
