Desigo Fire Safety’s Intelligent Voice Communication (IVC) from
Siemens Fire Safety is a technologically advanced,
addressable fire-with-voice unit. Through use of its
multiprocessor `Network design as well as with its
compatibility with intelligent detection devices Desigo IVC
epitomizes system flexibility.
Each Desigo IVC panel is easily accessible for operation: soft-key
push-buttons; a backlit liquid-crystal display (LCD) screen, and a
(4) four-way navigation push button are all located in the upper
portion of each FACP’s front end.
Desigo IVC, which provides up to 252 (via Model FV2025) and
504-point (via Model FV2050) networkable, addressable points
is: UL 864 10th Edition, UL1711, UL2017 & UL2572 Listed; ULC-
S527 & ULC-S559 Listed. Models FV2025 / FV2050 as well as
the Booster Amplifier have been seismic qualified in
accordance with: International Building Code 2012; California
Building Code 2013; ASCE 7 2010 Chapter 13; OSHPD CAN 2-
1708A.5, (Rev. 2 effective 10/31/08 and revised 6/26/09); ICC-
ES AC 156 (Approved October 2010 and Effective November
2010).
The IVC panels also meet the UL464 requirement for 520 Hz
low-frequency signal tone when used in conjunction with
Siemens HiFi speakers / speaker-strobes and ‘S’ (ceiling)
Series appliances.
