RS-170A BLACK BURST GENERATORS / SYNCHRONIZERS
The ES-219A is a Black-Burst / Sync Generator with four isolated outputs. The unit provides a dependable and
stable composite black-burst signal for pre-blacking tapes and/or for general synchronization purposes. The
output signal of the ES-219A consists of sync, blanking, reference black setup level and color burst which is
SCH phased. Subcarrier frequency and SCH phase may be adjusted if desired.

PC-219ISA
The PC-219ISA is designed to plug into any computer with PC/compatible expansion slots (ISA). The unit
provides a stable composite black-burst signal identical to that of the ES-219A. Subcarrier frequency and
SCH phase may be adjusted if desired. The board is half card size and requires no additional power (other
than that provided by the computer). Five isolated outputs (BNC Connectors) are located on the rear
card guide bracket. Optionally, one output of the PC-219ISA may be specified for either sync or an audio
reference tone (1 KHz) instead of the composite black.
