SomeTAIPclientapplicationscansendTAIPrequestsand
listenforreportsusingalocalconnection.Generallythisis
doneover theserialportusingPPP.Thiscanalsobedoneover
theUSBvirtualserialportusingPPP.
ThePinPointXwilllistenforTAIPrequestsonthelocalIP
addressandport.OnceaTAIPrequestcommandhasbeen
received,thePinPointXtwillbeginissuingTAIPreportstothe
localIPaddressandport21000.Theclientapplicationshould
belisteningforreportsonthisIPaddress
andport.No
unsolicitedreportswillbesentfromthePinPointtothelocal
clientapplication.
ToconfigurethislocalTAIPreporting,youwillneedtoset
fourcommands:*PPIP,S53,*PPGPSR,and*PPLATS.
