acceptsȱnoȱresponsibilityȱforȱdamagesȱofȱanyȱkindȱresultingȱ
fromȱdelaysȱorȱerrorsȱinȱdataȱtransmittedȱorȱreceivedȱusingȱtheȱ
SierraȱWirelessȱmodem,ȱorȱforȱfailureȱofȱtheȱSierraȱWirelessȱ
modemȱtoȱtransmitȱorȱreceiveȱsuchȱdata.
Safety and Hazards DoȱnotȱoperateȱtheȱSierraȱWirelessȱmodem:
• Inȱareasȱwhereȱblastingȱisȱinȱprogress
• Whereȱexplosiveȱatmospheresȱmayȱbeȱpresent
• Nearȱmedicalȱequipment
• Nearȱlifeȱsupportȱequipment,ȱorȱany ȱequipmentȱtha tȱmayȱ
beȱsusceptibleȱtoȱanyȱformȱofȱradioȱinterference.ȱInȱsuchȱ
areas,ȱtheȱSierraȱWirelessȱmodemȱMUSTȱBEȱPOWEREDȱ

couldȱinterfereȱwithȱthisȱequipment.
DoȱnotȱoperateȱtheȱSierraȱWirelessȱmodemȱinȱanyȱaircraft,ȱ
whetherȱtheȱaircraftȱisȱonȱtheȱgroundȱorȱinȱflight.ȱInȱaircraft,ȱtheȱ
SierraȱWirelessȱmodemȱMUSTȱBEȱPOWEREDȱOFF.ȱWhenȱ
operating,ȱtheȱSierraȱWirelessȱmodemȱcanȱtransmitȱsignalsȱthatȱ
couldȱinterfereȱwithȱvariousȱonboardȱsystems.
Note: Some airlines may permit the use of cellular phones while the
aircraft is on the ground and the door is open. The Sierra Wireless
modem may be used at this time.
Theȱdriverȱorȱoperatorȱofȱanyȱvehicleȱshouldȱnotȱoperateȱtheȱ
SierraȱWirelessȱmodemȱwhileȱinȱcontrolȱofȱaȱvehicle.ȱDoingȱsoȱ
willȱdetractȱfromȱtheȱdriverȱorȱoperatorȇsȱcontrolȱandȱoperationȱ
ofȱthatȱvehicle.ȱInȱsomeȱstatesȱandȱprovinces, ȱoperatingȱsuchȱ
communicationsȱdevicesȱwhileȱinȱcontrolȱofȱaȱvehicle
ȱisȱanȱ
