Environmental specifications
Sending GSM commands to the
network
GSM commands are used to:
• Access network services
• Display network and device parameters
• Provide account status information (for example, indicate
whether a subscribed service is available to you)
If your service provider asks you to enter a specific command:
1. Using your keyboard or the keypad on the VOICE tab in
the main Watcher window, type the command.
If the command was valid and accepted by the network,
the results are displayed in the Watcher window. Other-
wise, the message “Invalid GSM Command” is displayed.
For example, enter *#06#. This command displays the IMEI

You can send GSM commands even when a voice call or data
transfer is in progress.
