(Deprecated) Enable GPS functionality and MTLR
support
Note: Deprecated.
!GPSENABLE
should be used instead.
This command enables or disable GPS functionality if supported by the
USB driver, and enables or disables support for Mobile Terminated
Location Request (MTLR). When GPS functionality is enabled, a new
COM port (labeled NMEA) appears.
Note: You may need to update drivers to support the GPS (NMEA) port.
Note: AT!RESET must be issued after this command is used.
Usage:
• AT!GPSENABLE=<gpsFlag>, <mtlrFlag> configures the modem’s
GPS functionality, and MTLR support settings.
• AT!GPSENABLE? returns the current state of GPS (enabled /
disabled) and MTLR support. For example, AT!GPSENABLE? returns:
GPS Enabled Flag: <gpsStatus>
MT LR Support: <mtlrFlag>
• AT!GPSENABLE=? returns supported <gpsFlag> and <mtlrFlag>
values.
Parameters:
<gpsFlag> (set GPS lock status and enable/disable GPS customization)
• 0—Disable GPS functionality
• 1—Enable GPS functionality
<mtlrFlag> (enable/disable support for Mobile Terminated Location
Request)
• 0—Disable MTLR support
• 1—Enable MTLR support
<gpsStatus> (current status of GPS lock)
• 0—Disabled
• 1—Enabled
