Set module operating mode
This command is used to switch the modem to USB mass-storage mode.
This lets you access the software (and other files) that were originally
provisioned on the modem. For example, you could use the command to
re-install the software manually, or use it to retrieve any documentation
that may have been originally included with the modem.
Note: This command is only available if a valid SWoC image is present in
the module’s flash memory.
To configure the modem to boot in mass-storage mode, use the
AT!NVSWOC command on page 47.
Usage:
AT!SWOCMODE=<mode> sets the modem’s current operating mode.
Parameters:
<mode> (Module’s operating mode):
0 = Mass-storage
1 = Modem

Query / set UMTS ‘Out of Service’ parameters
This command is used to set required and optional ‘Out of Service’ (OOS)
parameters.
This command is used to indicate the current state of the Sleep Enable
feature, and to set the state of the feature.
Usage:
AT!UOOS? reports the current <sleep>, <totalscan>, <umtsscan>, and
<gsmscan> settings.
AT!UOOS=<sleep>[, <totalscan>, <umtsscan>, <gsmscan>] sets the
required parameter (<sleep>) and the scan times for UMTS and GSM
bands
Parameters:
<sleep> (UMTS OOS deep sleep time):
0–0xFFFF = Number of seconds
<totalscan> (Sum of <umtsscan> and <gsmscan>):
Manually verify that this value is entered as the sum of <umtsscan>
and <gsmscan> to ensure that the OOS parameters are updated
correctly.
0–0xFFFF = Number of milliseconds
<umtsscan> (OOS UMTS bands scan time):
0–0xFFFF = Number of milliseconds
<gsmscan> (OOS GSM bands scan time):
0–0xFFFF = Number of milliseconds
