Powering the card off/on

If you are using your Sprint Mobile Broadband Card in an aircraft, hospital, or

other environment where the radio modem of the card may cause interference,

you can power off the modem (without ejecting the card), and still use other

functions of your notebook computer.

This also allows you to conserve your notebook computer’s battery.

To power off the modem:

1. Close any active data connection (page 46).

2. Select MENU > Power Off Modem.

When powered off, the menu option switches to Power On Modem, and

Sprint PCS Connection Manager displays the message “Device powered off .”
