CROP ZOOM
SIGMA fp L has "Crop Zoom" that exploits a characteristic of a high-
megapixel image sensor and delivers zooming effects by changing the
recording area of the image sensor. You can enjoy zooming even with a
prime lens as if you are using a zoom lens.
Touch the screen with two fingers and
pinch out (move fingers apart) to zoom in,
and pinch in (move fingers together) to
zoom out. (Magnification factors that you
can set and the current magnification
factor position ▼
are
displayed
at
the
bottom
of
the
screen.)
When the Crop Zoom screen is displayed, you can
perform zooming operations with the Front and Rear dials
or the
buttons.
While Crop Zoom is active, the Crop Zoom icon
appears.
[Crop Zoom] can be assigned to the Quick Set menu
(P.36), the dial (P.115), or a custom button (P.116).
