DC CROP MODE
The Sigma sd Quattro H incorporates an APS-H sized image sensor, and it
automatically switches to DC Crop mode, when DC lenses are attached.
Also, it is possible to select On/Off of the DC Crop Mode manually, no
matter which lens is mounted.

Please set it from [ Capture Settings] (P. 3 1) [DC Crop Mode].
Off
The camera records images in APS-H size.
On
The camera records images in APS-C size.
Auto
(Default)
The camera automatically switches to DC Crop Mode,
when a DC lens is attached.
When the DC Crop Mode is activated, an icon of this mode
appears in the display.
When a DG lens is mounted and the DC Crop Mode [On] is selected, the
peripheral areas in the image will be cut off and the angle of view shifts
1.15 times to the telephoto end, when it is compared to the mode [Off].
In DC Crop Mode, the image size will be as follows.
S-HI
39.3M 7,680×5,120 (When it is set as 3:2)
HIGH (Default)
19.6M 5,424×3,616 (When it is set as 3:2)
LOW

2,704×1,808 (When it is set as 3:2)
