Select the appropriate labels from the supplied
sheet of function legends. Peel the labels from the
sheet and apply to the key pad in the area provided
as shown in figure 3-13. Verify that the label is
properly tucked under the retaining ridge on the
pushbutton.
3-9. TESTING AFTER INSTALLATION.
WARNING
All effective sirens and horns produce
loud sounds (120 dB) that may cause
permanent hearing loss. Always mini-
mize your exposure to siren sound and
wear hearing protection. Do not sound
the siren indoors or in enclosed areas
where you and others will be exposed to
the sound.
Before testing, read and understand the sup-
plied Operation and Configuration Instructions. After
installation is complete, test all siren and light
functions to ensure that all functions and controlled
devices operate as intended. Test all vehicle func-
