2 Four-Piece Entrance Set Installation Instructions

9. Remove the handle and deadbolt latch bolts

and set aside.

10. Mark the mounting hole locations for the

deadbolt face plate (C) on the edge of the door

and drill pilot holes if necessary.

11. Reinsert the deadbolt latch bolt and secure

the face plate to the door with provided mounting

screws.

12. Repeat the previous steps for the handle face

plate (D) and latch bolt.

13. Push the handle latch bolt in and insert the

spindle (E) through the latch bolt mechanism so

that the split in the spindle is in the center of the

latch bolt. Turn the spindle in the latch bolt to

make sure the spindle engages the latch bolt (F).

14. Thread the mounting tube (G) onto the built-in

screw at the bottom of the exterior handle

escutcheon.

15. Insert the deadbolt cylinder (H) into the exterior

escutcheon, making sure that the ﬂat tail piece of

the cylinder is vertical.

16. Push the deadbolt latch bolt in and ﬁt the

exterior escutcheon onto the door, keeping the tail

piece vertical.

17. Hold the interior mounting plate (I) in place with

the deadbolt cylinder through the center hole.

Attach to the door with the provided mounting

hardware.

18. Attach the interior thumb turn escutcheon to

the door with the provided mounting hardware.

Make sure that the deadbolt cylinder tail piece ﬁts

into the slot.
