3 Four-Piece Entrance Set Installation Instructions
19. Install the handle escutcheons over the
spindles with the provided mounting hardware.
20. Check both latch bolts to make sure that they
are functioning correctly. Unscrew the escutch-
eons to adjust as necessary.
21. Affix the decorative support screw to the
mounting tube at the bottom of the exterior
escutcheon and tighten to secure.
22. Mark the end of the latch bolts with lipstick or
paint. Close the door, and turn the deadbolt and
handle several times to mark the door frame.
23. Tape the strike plate template to the door
frame in the location marked in the previous step.
Mark the mounting hole locations and drill pilot
holes as necessary.
Note: If necessary, chisel out the strike plate area so that they
fit flush with the door frame.
24. Secure the strike plates to the door frame with
the provided mounting hardware.
