INSTRUCTIONS
Unpack and inspect the product for any shipping
damages. If you find damages, do not install.
Contact Customer Service at 1.866.855.2284. If
you need assistance or have questions while
installing your latch, contact Customer Service.
We recommend consulting a professional if you
are unfamiliar with installing hardware fixtures.

damage to the gate or latch or for personal
injury during installation.
TOOLS AND MATERIALS:
Read the installation instructions below.
Observe all local building and safety codes.
BEFORE INSTALLING INSTALLATION
1. With the gate in the closed position, determine the mounting
location of the latch body (A) on the gate post. Mark the
installation holes with a pencil.
2. Measure the location of the spindle on the back of the latch
body. Use your measurements to mark the spindle location on
the gate post.
3. Drill a spindle hole through the gate with the appropriate drill
bit for your installation.
4. Secure the latch body (A) to the gate using the provided
mounting screws.
5. From the other side of the gate, insert the spindle.
Tip: The spindle can be trimmed to the appropriate length as needed.
6. Place the latch pull (D) on the spindle and adjust as necessary
toensure the plate is level. Secure the pull to the gate.
7. On the latch side of the gate, determine the mounting
location of the bolt guide (B). Make sure that the bolt is level, and
secure the guide to the gate with the provided mounting screws.
8. Determine the mounting location of the bolt catch (C) on the
fence post. Make sure that the bolt will rest in the catch, and
secure the catch to the fence.
