B O S TO N I A N RAINFALL NOZZLE SHOWER SYSTEM SKU: 903783 Copper (Soldering) If you are replacing your plumbing valve, please review the common plumbing methods illustrated below (Copper, IPS). Remove the existing handle and valve trim before replacing your valve. Please follow all local building and plumbing codes. Use a wire �tting brush to thoroughly clean the brass inlets before soldering copper to the valve. Do not use push-�t �ttings for tub spout outlet. Do not use PEX for tub spout outlet.

B O S TO N I A N RAINFALL NOZZLE SHOWER SYSTEM SKU: 903783 PRESSURE BALANCE VALVE INSTALLATION 4. Remove the plaster guard (1) from the body (2). 1. Shut o� the water supply. 2. Verify that the hole sizes and position of the holes in the wall are correct. The shower outlet hole should be 1-1/4” diameter. The recommended valve depth to the �nished wall is 1-1/2”. Ensure that the valve body cover is �ush with the �nished exterior surface of the wall.

Connect the hot and cold water supply lines (1) and the shower outlet pipe (2) by threading them into the vave body (4) in a clockwise direction. Then insert the plug (5) into the bottom of the valve body (4). Tighten the pipes to the valve body (4) with a pipe wrench. Connect the pipe elbows (3) to the end of the shower outlet. 7.

B O S TO N I A N RAINFALL NOZZLE SHOWER SYSTEM SKU: 903783 8. Use 1/2” iron pipe plugs to seal shower outlet. Turn cartridge stem counterclockwise to full on mixed position. Turn on hot and cold water lines to full open position for one minute each. Check for leaks. Shut o� water at faucet. Slowly remove pipe plug from shower outlet to relieve pressure. 10. Place the plaster guard (1) onto the valve body (2).

B O S TO N I A N RAINFALL NOZZLE SHOWER SYSTEM SKU: 903783 12. Rotate the lever counterclockwise until the water is to the maximum desired temperature, not to exceed 120 degrees F/49 degress C. Seasonal maintenance of the maximum outlet temperature may be required due to changes in groundwater temperature. 14. For colder water, adjust the limit stop ring (1) in a clockwise direction and reinstall the limit stop ring (1) onto the cartridge assembly (2).

There are 3 outlets on the diverter valve, providing 3 separate connections. Each outlet will connect one end �xture, for example, showerhead, hand shower and the tub spout. 2. The outlet sequence will start from the top, the right and then the left. 3.

B O S TO N I A N RAINFALL NOZZLE SHOWER SYSTEM SKU: 903783 3. Place the decorative escutcheon on the water supply tee, and attach the tee to the pipe nipple at the �nished wall. 6. Hold the shower out slightly from the wall. Use a level to verify that the riser pipe is completely straight. When the riser is aligned properly, gently press the handle tee into the wall. 4. Reattach the riser pipe to the supply tee. Do not fully tighten the connecting nut. 5.

B O S TO N I A N RAINFALL NOZZLE SHOWER SYSTEM SKU: 903783 8. Gently pull the riser pipe out from the wall. The mounting bracket should be �xed in the mounting location. Push the riser pipe aside and attach the bracket to the wall with the appropiate mounting hardware. 11. Assemble the hand shower and hose, and attach the hose to the outlet at the bottom of the handle tee. 9. Place the decorative escutcheon on the handle tee and gently put the riser pipe back in place over the mounting bracket.

B O S TO N I A N RAINFALL NOZZLE SHOWER SYSTEM SKU: 903783 REMOVAL OF CARTRIDGE FOR MAINTENACE 4. Place the cartridge into the transfer valve body and ensure the seals are in the correct position. 1. Remove the face plate, handle, and housing. 2. Release the top cover with wrench in counterclockwise direction 5. Position the pins correctly and match the body position holes to �t in securely. 6. Reassemble the top cover to the transfer valve by turning it clockwise until hand tight.
