5. With the assisstance of another person, slide the ½"
lock nuts onto the copper supply tubes and hold them
in place. Be careful not to drop the lock nuts down into
the riser tubes. Then, slide the rubber cone washers
onto the supply tubes with the tapered end facing up,
as shown.

6. Secure the faucet body to the copper supply tube by
threading the lock nut into the adapters. Apply a bit of
thread sealant or plumber’s tape to the threads before
attaching. Use an adjustable wrench to ensure that the
supply tubes are tightly secured.
