FLOOR REGISTER INSTALLATION

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

TOOLS AND MATERIALS:

All of SIgnature Hardware’s registers are

listed on out website by air duct size, which

is the industry standard. To determine

which register size to order, remove the old

For standard ﬂoor registers, the louver

frame ﬁts into the air duct opening in the

ﬂoor, and the lip rests on the surface of the

ﬂoor.

BEFORE INSTALLING INSTALLATION

1. Remove the old ﬂoor register. If the existing register is

screwed to the ﬂoor, use a screwdriver to remove the screws

that hold the register in place.

Observe all local builing codes.

Unpack and inspect the register for

damage. If damage is found, contact our

2. Insert the new ﬂoor register. The louver frame will ﬁt into the

air duct opening, while the lip of the register will sit on top of

the ﬂoor. In general, it is not necessary to secure the register

to the ﬂoor with screws or mounting clips.
