2.  Start the gdb debugger. To 
establish connection with the 
GDBserver, run “target remote 
<host>:<port>” command, as 
shown in the following 
examples. 
•  To connect to the server from a remote host computer named 
“celeronti” via port 9000, enter: 
target remote celeronti:9000 
•  To connect to the server on the local machine, enter: 
target remote localhost:9000 
As another example, the beginning of a remote debug session might look like 
this: 
$ arm-elf-gdb x.elf
