Power off all devices, including monitors. Connect your HDMI source (such as a Blu-ray DVD player) to the HDMI In. Connect your HDMI display(s) to the HDMI Out(s). Firmware Update Follow the instructions below to update the firmware when suggested to do so. 1. Power off the switch. 2. Set the DIP switch up to ON. 3. Connect an RS-232 cable between your PC and the RS-232 connector of the switch. 4. Open the firmware update software, set the correct COM port and baud rate, see Figure 3. Note: baud rate 57600 is required. COM port and baud rate setting Figure 3 5. 6. Click File button and select the firmware HEX or BIN file, see Figure 4 on page 6.

Power up the switch again to complete the firmware update.
