Hardware Installation 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. Power off all devices you plan to connect to this converter. Connect your HDMI source to the converter’ s HDMI IN connector using a HDMI cable (not included). Connect your displays to the converter’ s SDI OUT connectors using a SDI cable (not included). Connect the converter's power adapter. Turn on the displays, then the HDMI source. The HDMI to 3G-SDI Converter is now ready to use.

EDID Learning EDID is used to transmit the make, model and characteristics of a monitor to the display adapter in the computer. It’ s also used by a HDTV to identify its maximum resolution to the DVD player, A/V receiver or video processor. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Disconnect the HDMI to 3G-SDI Converter from the the HDMI source and the display and make sure the power adapter is not plugged in. Set the converter's EDID pin down. Connect your display to the converter’ s HDMI connector.
