How to Use
Mixing Have scissors or a knife next to the hole or spall and be ready to cut a corner of the bag after mixing is completed. Roll the
pouch, starting at the compartment containing Component A (liquid), working towards the ‘burst seal’ in the direction of the
arrows shown on the label. Apply pressure to the rolled section to rupture the seal and allow Component A (liquid) to flow
into the compartment containing Component B (powder). Mix thoroughly by then rolling out the pouch and rubbing the
bag along any 90 degree surface (no sharp edges). Mix for 20 seconds by forcing the material to travel inside the bag, from
one end to the other (using a “shoe shining” technique). Make sure there is no powder left behind, the clear packaging
on the back of the pouch allows the user to see when the product is properly mixed.
Surface Preparation Remove all deteriorated concrete, dirt, oil, grease, and all bond-inhibiting materials from surface. Preparation work should
be done by high pressure water blast, scabbler, or other appropriate mechanical means to obtain an aggregate-fractured
surface with a minimum CSP 3 surface profile or greater. Ensure there are no curing compounds or other contaminants
remaining on the substrate before application. Substrate must be damp (SSD) before application. No standing water.
Application After mixing, cut one of the bag’s corners and pour mixed material in the hole/spall. The material will settle into the hole/
repair. Smooth it with a wide putty knife to get a smooth/flat finish.
