Installation Guide
Materials:
• Safety glasses and gloves
• Scissors or utility knife
• Bag of Sika Post Fix
Site Prep and Procedure
1. Dig your hole. Make sure that the post is adequately posi-
tioned inside the hole and leveled and braced (or held manu-
ally) before mixing. If there is standing water in the hole,
backll partially with soil or gravel until water is no longer
visible or pump the water out.
2. Wear safety glasses and gloves. Roll the pouch (in direction
of arrows) toward the central burst seal until it ruptures and
allow materials to combine.
3. Mix thoroughly by rubbing the bag along any 90 degree
surface (no sharp edges that would puncture the bag) for
15 SECONDS by forcing material to travel in the bag from
one end to the other.
4. IMMEDIATELY after mixing, cut one of the bag’s corners
and pour the mixed material evenly around the hole before
expansion starts (material color is green).
5. Adjust the post if necessary for up to 10 seconds. Do not
move the post until material has rmed up. Hardening will
be achieved in approximately 3 minutes; thereafter, the post
may be left unsupported. Allow approximately 2 hours for
the product to set completely before installing the fence,
gate or any other accessory on the post.
6. Remove excess material immediately using either a solvent-
based cleaner or clean cloth to remove splatters of uncured
material from the post’s surface. Hardened material can
only be removed with a hand tool.
