Bonding Agent & Admixture

How-To-Use

Materials:

• Safety glasses and waterproof gloves

• Gallon of Sika Latex R

• Mixing container

• Wire brush

Procedure

As a Bonding Agent

1. Remember to always wear waterproof gloves and safety goggles

whenever mixing or using cement-based products.

2. Add 1 part cement, 2 parts sand, and a sufcient amount of Sika-

Latex R to produce a creamy paint consistency.

3. Brush the mixture with a stiff bristle brush into the entire area

to be resurfaced. Make sure the entire surface and all edges are

covered.

4. Apply the repair mortar immediately, before the bonding agent

dries.

As an Admixture

1. Add SikaLatex R to repair mortar or concrete instead of water,

and mix to a desired consistency. Follow the concrete or mortar

instructions to correct proportions. Add more SikaLatex R as

desired.
