Data Retention Options
Social Distancing Settings can only be updated by a companywide Administrator.
With appropriate consideration to obligations of GDPR, whereby personal data should only be retained
for a period of time that reflects the purpose of the data, the proximity data held within the Reactec
Analytics database will be automatically deleted after a period configured by you.
How To:
On the top tool bar, select Data/Project Manager
On the side menu select SETUP > Social Distancing Options.
Reactec recommend the default settings as below:
Contact Tracing Data Retention: The contact tracing data in the “Contact Tracing” report will
be deleted after a period ranging from 2 to 12 weeks. This identifies all other individuals that
any one individual has been in contact with.
Aggregate Data Retention: The aggregated proximity data in the ‘Workforce Contact’ report
which you may use for social behaviour management of individuals will be deleted after a period
of between 2 and 12 months. The aggregated data does not identify the individuals that any one
individual has been in contact with.
