Requirements
TheSilverSpringStreetLightnetworkinterfacecard(NIC)isREQUIREDtobe
professionallyinstalledbyaproperlytrainedtechnician.Improperinstallationcouldvoid
theuser’sauthoritytooperatetheequipment.
ThisdevicecomplieswithPart15oftheFCCRulesandIndustryCanadalicenceexemptRSS
standard(s).Operationissubject
tothefollowingtwoconditions:
1. Thisdevicemaynotcauseharmfulinterference,and
2. Thisdevicemustacceptanyinterferencereceived,includinginterferencethatmaycause
undesiredoperation.
Theantennaofthistransmittermustnotbecolocatedoroperatinginconjunctionwithany
otherantennaortransmitter.
Thedeviceshouldbe
installedsothatpeoplewillnotcomewithin20cm(8in.)ofthe
antenna.
Changesormodificationsnotexpresslyapprovedbythepartyresponsibleforcompliance
couldvoidtheuser’sauthoritytooperatetheequipment.
ThisequipmenthasbeentestedandfoundtocomplywithPart15oftheFCC
Rules.This
equipmentgenerates,uses,andcanradiateradiofrequencyenergy,andifnotinstalledand
usedinaccordancewiththeinstructions,maycauseharmfulinterferencetoradio
communications.However,thereisnoguaranteethatinterferencewillnotoccurina
particularinstallation.Ifthisequipmentdoescauseharmfulinterferenceto
radioor
televisionreception(whichcanbedeterminedbyturningtheequipmentoffandon),theuser
isencouragedtotrytocorrecttheinterferencebyoneormoreofthefollowingmeasures:
Reorientorrelocatethereceivingantenna.
Increasetheseparationbetweentheequipmentandreceiver.
Connectthe
equipmentintoanoutletonacircuitdifferentfromthattowhichthereceiver
isconnected.
Consultthedealeroranexperiencedradio/TVtechnicianforhelp.
