 Right-click on the speaker icon in the
task bar (at the bottom right of your
screen, near the clock). A context menu
is then displayed. Left-click on the
Open Volume Control entry in the
context menu.
 In the window which then opens, click
on Options and then left-click on
Properties.
 Make sure that Mixer device is set to
C-Media USB Audio Device. The
option for the volume control should be
set to Playback.
 In the list at the bottom, enable the
Microphone checkbox.
 Then click on OK to close the window.
