♦ Press the ALARM button . to save the selection. If you have selected the
alarm tone , the setting process is now complete.
♦ If you have selected radio or CD playback, you must use the −VOL+/
І◄◄ TUNE ►►І dial
 to set the volume (L15–L25).
♦ Press the ALARM button
. to save the setting.
Switch the alarm on/off
Switching the alarm on
♦ While the device is in standby mode, press the ALARM button . until the
desired alarm function is shown on the display

Alarm 1 is activated

AL2
Alarm 2 is activated
–
AL1
AL2
Alarm 1 and 2 are activated
– If no symbol is displayed, both Alarm 1 and 2 are deactivated.
Pausing the alarm
♦ You can pause the alarm (alarm, radio or CD) for 9 minutes by pressing
the SNOOZE/DIMMER button
. While the SNOOZE function is active,
"SNOOZE" appears on the display
.
NOTE
► If the alarm is not switched off, it stops automatically after 60 minutes.
► If CD playback is activated as the alarm mode and there is no CD in the
CD compartment
, the alarm tone will play instead.
Switching off the alarm
♦ Press the /SOURCE button 0 or the ALARM button . to switch off the
alarm. The set alarm time remains programmed.
NOTE
► The alarm is finished for 24 hours and will reactivate at the set alarm time.
Switching the alarm off completely
♦ To switch off the alarm completely, press the ALARM button . while in
standby mode until the symbol
AL1
or
AL2
or "AL 1" or "AL 2" is no longer
shown on the display
