Safety information Danger – Risk of electrical shock! ►► The rating of the local power supply must correspond with the details given on the rating plate of the appliance. ►► To avoid potential risks, arrange for a defective appliance to be checked and possibly repaired by qualified technicians, or contact our Customer Service Department. ►► To prevent accidents, have defective plugs and/or power cables replaced immediately by an authorised specialist technician or our Customer Service department.
Danger – Risk of electrical shock! ►► Do not open the steam iron housing. Have a defective steam iron repaired only by an authorised technician. ►► Do not use the appliance if it shows visible signs of damage, has fallen or leaks water. Arrange for it to be repaired by qualified specialists.
WARNING! Risk of injury! ►► Never leave the steam iron unattended while it is connected to the mains power supply. Caution! The surfaces of the appliance can become hot! Caution! Property damage! ►► Never leave a hot steam iron unattended if it is switched on or connected to the mains power supply. ►► Do not put the steam iron away until it has cooled down completely. ►► The steam iron should only be used and set down on stable surfaces.
Before first use Automatic switch-off 1) Remove the steam iron from the packaging. This steam iron is fitted with an automatic switch-off system. This stops the steam iron from heating up. 2) Remove all stickers and protective films from the steam iron and from the sole of the iron 9. ARNING – risk of W suffocation! Plastic bags can be dangerous. To avoid the risks of asphyxiation, keep plastic bags out of the reach of babies and toddlers.
Filling the water tank 1) Place the steam iron on the base 7. 2) Open the cover of the filler opening for the water tank q. 3) Using the measuring beaker w, fill the water tank with water to the “MAX” marking, but no further. 4) Close the cover of the filler opening for the water tank q. NOTE If the mains water in your area is rated as hard, it is recommended that you mix the mains water with some distilled water. Otherwise, the jets for the steam blast function could calcify (become blocked) prematurely.

There will be a beep and the display 1 will read “Standby” in red letters. CAUTION – Property damage! ►► If the clothing care instructions forbid ironing ( ), the garment may not be ironed. Ignoring this warning could lead to permanent damage to the clothing item.
–– Make sure you do not turn the steam control 8 further than the setting. Otherwise, you will activate the self-cleaning function (see chapter “Self-cleaning function”). ■■ As soon as you hold the steam iron horizontally, steam will come out of the sole of the iron 9. ■■ If you set the steam regulator 8 to or hold the steam iron vertically, no steam will come out of the sole of the iron 9.
As soon as a suitable temperature is reached, steam and boiling water will exit the holes in the sole of the iron 9. Any impurities that may be present are flushed out. 6) When no more water/steam comes out of the iron sole, set the steam control 8 to . Iron over a towel or old piece of cloth a few times to dry the sole of the iron 9 thoroughly. 7) Press the TEMP 2 button repeatedly until you hear a beep and the display 1 reads Standby in red letters. 8) Remove the power plug from the mains power socket.
Troubleshooting Problem The appliance is not working. The steam iron is producing no steam or very little steam. The steam iron does not get hot. Possible cause Possible solutions The appliance is not connected to a mains power socket. Connect the appliance to a mains power socket. The appliance is damaged. Contact the Customer Service department. The reserves of water in the steam iron are depleted. Fill the water tank with water (See "Filling the water tank").

Πριν την πρώτη χρήση Αυτόματη απενεργοποίηση 1) Απομακρύνετε το ατμοσίδερο από τη συσκευασία. Το ατμοσίδερο είναι εξοπλισμένο με μια λειτουργία αυτόματης απενεργοποίησης. Αυτή η λειτουργία σταματάει τη θέρμανση του ατμοσίδερου. 2) Απομακρύνετε όλα τα αυτοκόλλητα και τα μέρη μεμβρανών από το ατμοσίδερο και από τον πάτο του σίδερου 9. ΡΟΕΙΔΟΠΟΙΗΣΗ - ΚΙΝΔΥΝΟΣ Π ΑΣΦΥΞΙΑΣ! Πλήρωση δοχείου νερού 1) Τοποθετήστε το ατμοσίδερο στην υποδοχή 7. 2) Ανοίξτε το καπάκι του στομίου πλήρωσης για το δοχείο νερού q. 3) Γεμίστε με το δοχείο μέτρησης w νερό από τη βρύση έως το μέγιστο στη σήμανση «MAX» στο δοχείο νερού. 4) Ανοίξτε το καπάκι του στομίου πλήρωσης για το δοχείο νερού q. Κεφάλαιο «Αυτόματος μηχανισμός απενεργοποίησης») Χειρισμός Σύνδεση και σιδέρωμα ΥΠΟΔΕΙΞΗ Το στεγνό σιδέρωμα χωρίς ατμό είναι εφικτό σε όλες τις θερμοκρασίες, ενώ το σιδέρωμα με ατμό είναι εφικτό από τη βαθμίδα θερμοκρασίας 8 ( εμφανίζεται επιπλέον στην οθόνη 1).
–– Μην περιστρέφετε, πάντως, το ρυθμιστή ατμού 8 περισσότερο από τη ρύθμιση . Ειδάλλως, θα βρεθείτε στη λειτουργία αυτοκαθαρισμού/SelfClean (βλ. Κεφάλαιο «Λειτουργία αυτοκαθαρισμού»). ■■ Μόλις κρατήσετε το ατμοσίδερο οριζόντια, από τον πάτο του 9 εξέρχεται ατμός. ■■ Εάν ρυθμίσετε το ρυθμιστή ατμού 8 στο ,ή κρατήσετε το ατμοσίδερο κάθετα, δεν εξέρχεται ατμός από τον πάτο του σίδερου 9. Σιδέρωμα με ώθηση ατμού Η ώθηση ατμού ενδείκνυται ειδικά για το ίσιωμα σε δύσκολα προσβάσιμα σημεία των ρούχων.
Μόλις επιτευχθεί η κατάλληλη θερμοκρασία, βγαίνει ατμός και βραστό νερό από τις οπές εξόδου ατμού στον πάτο του σίδερου 9. Τυχόν υπάρχουσες ακαθαρσίες αποπλένονται και εκρέουν προς τα έξω. 6) Μόλις σταματήσει να εξέρχεται νερό / ατμός από τον πάτο του σίδερου, θέστε το ρυθμιστή ατμού 8 στη θέση . Περάστε το σίδερο μερικές φορές επάνω από ένα πανί ή ένα παλιό κομμάτι ύφασμα, ώστε ο πάτος 9 να στεγνώσει καλά.
Διόρθωση σφαλμάτων Πρόβλημα Η συσκευή δε λειτουργεί. Πιθανή αιτία Πιθανές λύσεις Η συσκευή δεν είναι συνδεδεμένη σε πρίζα. Συνδέστε τη συσκευή σε μια πρίζα. Η συσκευή παρουσιάζει βλάβη. Απευθυνθείτε στο τμήμα σέρβις. Το ατμοσίδερο δε βγάζει ή Γεμίστε το δοχείο νερού με Το απόθεμα νερού στο ατμοσίβγάζει ελάχιστο ατμό προς νερό βρύσης (βλ. «Πλήρωδερο έχει εξαντληθεί. τα έξω. ση δοχείου νερού»). Το ατμοσίδερο δεν ζεσταίνεται. Το ατμοσίδερο δεν είναι συνδεδεμένο ή ενεργοποιημένο.

Vor dem ersten Gebrauch Automatische Abschaltung 1) Entnehmen Sie das Dampfbügeleisen aus der Verpackung. Das Dampfbügeleisen ist mit einer automatischen Abschaltung ausgestattet. Diese stoppt das Heizen des Dampfbügeleisens. 2) Entfernen Sie alle Aufkleber und Folienteile vom Dampfbügeleisen und der Bügelsohle 9. WARNUNG - ERSTICKUNGSgefahr! Plastiktüten können eine Gefahr darstellen.
Wassertank befüllen Bedeutung der Display-Anzeige 1) Stellen Sie das Dampfbügeleisen auf den Sockel 7. 2) Öffnen Sie den Deckel der Einfüllöffnung für den Wassertank q. 3) Füllen Sie mit dem Messbecher w Leitungswasser bis höchstens zur „MAX“-Markierung in den Wassertank. 4) Schließen Sie den Deckel der Einfüllöffnung für den Wassertank q. Display-Anzeige Temperaturstufe Geeignet für... Pflegehinweis in der Kleidung Der Netzstecker steckt in einer Netzsteckdose, das Gerät ist im Standby.

–– Drehen Sie den Dampfregler 8 jedoch nicht weiter als bis zur Einstellung . Ansonsten befinden Sie sich in der SelbstreinigungsFunktion/SelfClean (siehe Kapitel „Selbstreinigungs-Funktion“). ■■ Sobald Sie das Dampfbügeleisen waagerecht halten, tritt Dampf aus der Bügelsohle 9 aus. ■■ Wenn Sie den Dampfregler 8 auf stellen oder das Dampfbügeleisen senkrecht halten, tritt kein Dampf aus der Bügelsohle 9 aus.
Sobald die geeignete Temperatur erreicht ist, tritt Dampf und kochendes Wasser aus den Dampfaustrittslöchern in der Bügelsohle 9 aus. Eventuell vorhandene Verunreinigungen werden dabei herausgespült. 6) Sobald kein Wasser / Dampf aus der Bügelsohle austritt, stellen Sie den Dampfregler 8 auf die Position . Fahren Sie einige Male über ein Handtuch oder altes Stück Stoff hin und her, um die Bügelsohle 9 gründlich zu trocknen.
Fehlerbehebung Problem Das Gerät funktioniert nicht. Mögliche Ursache Das Gerät ist nicht mit einer Netzsteckdose verbunden. Schließen Sie das Gerät an eine Netzsteckdose an.
