If you do not have any care instructions, test the appliance on a discreet part of the clothing first, e.g. on the inseam. ► If the clothing care instructions forbid ironing ( symbol), the clothing item must not be steamed with the appliance. Ignoring this warning could lead to permanent damage to the clothing item.

Assembly 1) Unscrew and remove the fixing screw e from the telescopic shaft q, which is located on the appliance base z (fig. A). 2) Hold the telescopic shaft q so that the power cable retainer 8 is on the left side. Check if the three locking clips 6 on the telescopic shaft q are unlocked (fig. B). 3) Insert the telescopic shaft q into the appliance base z and press it down until the holes of the telescopic shaft q and the appliance base z are at the same level. Reinsert the fixing screw e (fig. C).
E F G H Filling the water tank WARNING – RISK OF INJURY! ► Never fill the water tank t through the holes in the steam head 1. ► Never submerge the steam head 1 under water. NOTE ► If the appliance runs out of water during operation, the operating light i will flash red and the appliance will start beeping. ► The appliance switches off automatically if the amount of water in the water tank t is too low.
NOTE ► Use tap water in the appliance. If your tap water is hard, we recommend that you mix it with distilled water. Otherwise, the appliance will accumulate limescale quickly. Mix the tap water with distilled water in accordance with the following table for optimal performance: Water hardness very soft/soft Ratio of distilled water to mains water 0 medium 1: 1 hard 2: 1 very hard 3: 1 Information about the level of hardness of water in your area can be obtained from your local water company.
4) Screw the lid tight and turn the water tank t around again (fig. J). Check that the lid is closed tight enough that no water can escape. 5) Put the water tank t back onto the appliance base z (fig. K). K Operation WARNING – RISK OF INJURY! ► Never attempt to steam pieces of clothing while they are being worn. NOTE ► When using the appliance, make sure to remove all materials that could block the casters o of the garment steamer from the floor (use the appliance on a level, horizontal surface).
7) The flexible steam hose w might make gurgling noises during operation. This is a normal effect caused by condensation. If the steam hose w starts gurgling, move it to a vertical position so the condensation can flow back into the appliance.
Accessories NOTE ► Before using any accessory, carefully read the manufacturer's care instructions on the label of the piece of clothing you are treating. We also recommend that you test the accessory on a discreet part of the fabric first. ► Before attaching an accessory to the steam head 1, ensure that it has cooled down completely and that the appliance is no longer connected to the power supply.
Crease tool The supplied crease tool a helps you to renew or create creases. 1) Before you switch on the appliance, fully attach the hook on the supplied crease tool a into the mount on the bottom of the steam head 1 (fig. U). 2) Press the handle to open the crease tool a. 3) Place the clothing between the crease tool a and the steam head 1 and let go of the handle. 4) Switch the appliance on and start at the top of the clothing. Slowly move the crease tool a downward (fig. V).
Usage recommendations Ƈ Before using the appliance, familiarise yourself with the manufacturer's care instructions on the label of your clothing. Ƈ If you are not sure whether you should steam the clothing, test the appliance on a discreet part of the clothing first, e.g. on the inseam. Ƈ Also clamp the bottom of the clothing into the diagonal bracket 7 before you start steaming. Ƈ Apply the fabric brush p to the fabric gently and move it slowly. Ƈ Use the crease tool a for creases in trousers or blouses.
W X Transport NOTE u, the handle of the ► Do not carry the appliance by the On/Off switch water tank t or the integrated clothes hanger 3. Ƈ The appliance comes with two casters o for easy transport. Tilt the appliance backwards while holding the telescopic shaft q. Pull it until the appliance rolls (fig. Y). Ƈ Alternatively, you can lift the appliance by the telescopic shaft q and carry it.
Cleaning WARNING – RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! ► Before cleaning the appliance, disconnect the power plug from the power socket. Otherwise, there is a risk of electrocution. WARNING – RISK OF INJURY! ► Before cleaning the appliance, always remove the plug from the power socket and allow the appliance to cool down completely. Otherwise, there is risk of burns! Ƈ Clean the steam head 1 only with a soft cloth lightly moistened with water. Descaling NOTE ► The appliance is designed for use with standard tap water.
Housing CAUTION – PROPERTY DAMAGE! ► Do not use abrasive, aggressive or chemical cleaning agents. They can damage the surface and also lead to irreparable damage to the appliance. Ƈ Clean the housing of the appliance only with a soft cloth lightly moistened with water. Ƈ After cleaning, allow the housing to dry completely before using the appliance again. Storage Ƈ Empty any remaining water from the water tank t and steam kettle. Ƈ Store the appliance in a clean, dry location.

Montage 1) Schrauben Sie die Befestigungsschraube e der Teleskopstange q, die sich auf der Gerätebasis z befindet, heraus und entfernen Sie diese (Abb. A). 2) Halten Sie die Teleskopstange q so, dass sich die Netzkabelhalterung 8 links befindet. Überprüfen Sie, ob die drei Verriegelungsclips 6 der Teleskopstange q entriegelt sind (Abb. B).
E F G H Wassertank befüllen WARNUNG - VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR! ► Befüllen Sie den Wassertank t niemals durch die Löcher des Dampfkopfes 1. ► Tauchen Sie den Dampfkopf 1 niemals unter Wasser. HINWEIS ► Bei Wassermangel während des Betriebs blinkt die Betriebsleuchte i rot auf und das Gerät beginnt zu piepen. ► Das Gerät schaltet sich automatisch aus, sobald sich im Wassertank t nicht mehr genug Wasser befindet.
HINWEIS ► Das Gerät sollte mit Leitungswasser verwendet werden. Falls Ihr Wasser kalkhaltig ist, empfiehlt es sich, das Leitungswasser mit destilliertem Wasser zu mischen. Ansonsten kann das Gerät schnell verkalken. Um einen optimalen Betrieb des Gerätes zu gewährleisten, mischen Sie das Leitungswasser mit destilliertem Wasser entsprechend der Tabelle.
4) Schrauben Sie den Deckel zu und drehen Sie den Wassertank t um. Überprüfen Sie, ob der Deckel wasserdicht verschlossen ist. 5) Setzen Sie den Wassertank t wieder auf die Gerätebasis z (Abb. K). K Bedienung WARNUNG - VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR! ► Versuchen Sie niemals, Kleidungsstücke direkt auf einer Person zu glätten.
5) Beginnen Sie oben am Kleidungsstück und bewegen Sie den Dampfkopf 1 langsam nach unten (Abb. O). Achten Sie darauf, dass der Dampfschlauch w immer senkrecht ist. 6) Um das Glätten zu erleichtern, spannen Sie auch die Unterseite des Kleidungsstücks vor dem Glätten in den Querbügel 7 (Abb. P). Dieser lässt sich durch das Herausziehen und drehen der Halterung in die gewünschte Position bringen (Abb. Q).
Zubehörteile HINWEIS ► Vor dem Gebrauch eines Zubehörteils sollten Sie sich mit den Pflegehinweisen des Herstellers auf dem Etikett des Kleidungsstücks vertraut machen. Wir raten Ihnen außerdem, einen Test auf einem nicht sichtbaren Teil des Stoffs durchzuführen. ► Überprüfen Sie, bevor Sie ein Zubehörteil auf dem Dampfkopf 1 befestigen, ob dieser vollständig abgekühlt und das Gerät vom Stromnetz getrennt ist. Faltenzubehör Mit dem mitgelieferten Faltenzubehör a können Sie Bügelfalten auffrischen oder neu erstellen. 1) Befestigen Sie vor dem Einschalten des Gerätes den Haken des mitgelieferten Faltenzubehörs a vollständig in der Halterung an der Unterseite des Dampfkopfes 1 (Abb. U). 2) Drücken Sie auf den Griff, damit sich das Faltenzubehör a öffnet. 3) Legen Sie das Kleidungsstück zwischen das Faltenzubehör a und den Dampfkopf 1 und lassen Sie den Griff los.
Anwendungstipps Ƈ Überprüfen Sie vor der Benutzung des Gerätes die Herstellerempfehlungen zur Pflege des Kleidungsstücks auf dem Etikett. Ƈ Falls Sie nicht sicher sind, ob das Kleidungsstück für das Dampfglätten geeigent ist, beginnen Sie mit einem nicht sichtbaren Teil des Kleidungsstücks, wie z. B. an einer Innennaht, um die Wirkung zu überprüfen. Ƈ Spannen Sie vor dem Glätten auch die Unterseite des Kleidungsstücks in den Querbügel 7.
5) Verwenden Sie nicht den Handgriff des Wassertanks t, um das Gerät zu transportieren. Das Gerät besitzt praktische Transportrollen o, die den Transport vereinfachen. W X Transport HINWEIS u, dem Handgriff ► Greifen Sie das Gerät nicht am Ein/Aus-Schalter des Wassertanks t oder dem integrierten Kleiderbügel 3, um es zu transportieren. Reinigen WARNUNG - STROMSCHLAGGEFAHR! ► Ziehen Sie vor jeder Reinigung den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose. Ansonsten besteht Stromschlaggefahr. WARNUNG - VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR! ► Ziehen Sie vor jeder Reinigung den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose und lassen Sie das Gerät abkühlen. Ansonsten besteht Verbrennungsgefahr. Ƈ Reinigen Sie den Dampfkopf 1 nur mit einem weichen, leicht mit Wasser befeuchteten Tuch. Entkalkung HINWEIS ► Das Gerät ist für die Verwendung mit Leitungswasser ausgelegt.
6) Wiederholen Sie die Schritte 4 und 5 mehrere Male, bis das Gerät vollkommen von Kalk befreit ist. Gehäuse ACHTUNG - SACHSCHADEN! ► Benutzen Sie keine aggressiven, scheuernden oder chemischen Reinigungsmittel. Diese können die Oberfläche angreifen und zu irreparablen Schäden am Gerät führen. Ƈ Reinigen Sie das Gehäuse nur mit einem weichen, leicht mit Wasser befeuchtetem Tuch. Ƈ Lassen Sie nach dem Reinigen das Gehäuse des Gerätes vollständig trocknen, bevor sie es wieder benutzen.
