Use on clothing
Hang the creased piece of clothing onto a coat
hanger.
Gently stretch the item with one hand and hold
it, then apply steam from top to bottom. Com-
bine steam with the clothes brush .for gentle
removal of all creases.
Gently apply pressure with the clothes brush .
and move the appliance over the piece of cloth-
ing from top to bottom. You can press the steam
burst button at brief intervals.
NOTE
Only repeat pressing the steam burst button
until the heat-up indicator lamp lights up or
water drips from the ironing sole . Wait until
the heat-up indicator lamp goes out before
initiating another burst of steam.
If the heat-up indicator lamp lights up during
operation, do not press the steam blast button
again. Wait a few seconds until the heat-up
indicator lamp goes out before pressing the
steam blast button again.
NOTE
If you press the steam burst button while the
heat-up indicator lamp is illuminated, the
appliance will produce condensation instead
of steam, and water will drip from the ironing
sole .
Allow treated clothes to cool down on a coat
hanger before wearing them.
Use on curtains and upholstery
You can remove creases and wrinkles from
draperies by hanging them on a rail.
Simply adhere to the instructions under “Use on
clothing”.
Always carry out a test treatment on an invisible
patch of the item.
If you are using the appliance horizontally, turn
it vertical every now and then to produce the
greatest possible amount of steam.
Lint brush
To remove lint, string and hair, slowly guide the
red lint brush ! over your clothes from left to
right.
Moving the lint brush ! over scrap fabric or
similar materials in the opposite direction (i.e.,
from right to left) will clean the brush.
Ironing function
Remove the brush extension 3 from the ap-
pliance (see “Attaching/removing the brush
extension”).
The appliance must be connected to correctly
installed and earthed mains power sockets only.
Set the temperature control in accordance
with the international care symbols (laundry
label) or the type of fabric. The heat-up indicator
lamp lights up. As soon as the selected tem-
perature has been reached, the heat-up indicator
lamp goes out.

NOTE
If in doubt, start with a low temperature and
gradually increase it. For sensitive fabric, we
recommend that you iron an invisible patch
(inside of the seam) first to ensure that the
ironing process does not cause damage.
