Cleaning the appliance
Clean the cooking bowl and the surface of the appliance base with a slightly
damp cloth.
Always dry the appliance properly before using it again.
In the event of limescale build-up
If limescale starts building up in the cooking bowl , proceed as follows to remove it.
Fill the measuring cup
one third full with lemon juice. Then fill the measuring cup
up to the MAX marking with water.
Tip this lemon juice solution into the cooking bowl
.
Plug the mains plug into a suitable wall socket and press the operating switch
to switch the appliance on.
Allow the lemon juice to simmer for about 10 seconds.
Press the operating switch
to switch off the appliance and pull the plug from
the mains power socket.
Allow the appliance and the lemon juice solution to cool down.
Tip out the lemon juice solution and wipe out the cooking bowl
with a damp cloth.
Cleaning the accessories
Rinse the lid , the cooking insert and the measuring cup in warm water with
a mild detergent. Rinse all the parts off using clean water.
NOTE
The lid
,
cooking insert
and measuring cup are dishwasher-safe. If
possible, place the parts in the upper basket and ensure that none of the
parts can get stuck. This may cause them to become deformed.
After cleaning, dry all parts thoroughly before reusing or storing them.
Storage
Allow the appliance to cool down completely before putting it into storage.
Wind the mains cable
in the direction of the arrow around the cable retainer
on the bottom of the unit.
Store the appliance in a dry location.
