Safety information
DANGER! RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK!
Never immerse the appliance, the mains cable or the plug in
water or any other liquid! Otherwise there is a risk of an electric
shock.
► Ensure that the mains cable never becomes wet or damp when
the appliance is in use. Route the cable so that it cannot be
trapped or damaged in any way.
► Use the appliance only in dry indoor areas: do not use it outdoors.
► Always remove the plug from the power socket before moving or
filling the appliance, in the event of problems, before cleaning the
appliance and when it is not in use!
► Never pull on the mains cable; always pull directly on the plug itself.
► Never touch the mains cable or the mains plug with wet or moist
hands.
► Do not kink or crush the mains cable and do not wind it around
the appliance.
► Do not operate the appliance if the appliance itself, the mains
cable or the mains plug is damaged.
► Arrange for defective power plugs and/or cables to be replaced
as soon as possible by a qualified technician or by our Customer
Service Department to avoid the risk of injury.
► Keep the egg boiler and the mains cable and mains plug away
from open flames and hot surfaces.
► Never open the casing. There are no user-serviceable parts
inside. When the housing is open, there is a risk of a potentially
fatal electrical shock.
