The range is reduced

♦ A weak battery will reduce the range. Change the

battery every 12–18 months.

♦ Metal constructions, walls, ceilings or other applianc-

es that use the same frequency can aﬀect the range.

Try to avoid mounting the transmitter in the immediate

vicinity of any metal parts.
