Operation
The hob
The hob 1 is provided with 10 power levels:

Use
NOTE
Please note that a tone sounds every time you make an entry.
1) Place the cooking pot with contents in the middle of the hob 1.
CAUTION – PROPERTY DAMAGE!
The weight of the pan including contents may not be more than 10 kg, as
the hob 1 might be damaged otherwise.
2) Insert the plug into the mains power socket. All indicator lamps illuminate
briefly. "L" is shown on the display 0 if the temperature of the hob 1 is less
than 60 °C.
NOTE
If cooking has already taken place and the hob 1 still has a temperature
above 60 °C, the display shows 0 "- H -".
3) Press the "on/off" button
4. The display 0 shows the power level "0"
and the indicator lamp "P" q lights up.
NOTES
You may select between cooking with power levels or cooking with tempera-
ture settings:
When you are cooking in the temperature mode, the appliance heats the
cooking pot to the set temperature. If the temperature falls below the set
temperature, the appliance heats up again. The temperature is thus main-
tained at the desired level.
By adjusting the "power level", the cooking pot is heated at varying speeds.
The higher the selected power level, the faster the cooking pot is heated.
If you do not place a suitable cooking pot on the hob 1 within 60 sec-
onds or if you make some settings, the appliance will switch itself off and
emit a signal tone.
