4) Press the "+" 6 or "-" 7 buttons repeatedly until the required power stage is
shown on the display 0. The MODE indicator lamp r lights up.
NOTE
Press the MODE button
9 to switch between the temperature or power
stage modes. The MODE indicator lamp button r lights up.
In the temperature stage mode, the preset temperature of 120°C
appears on the display 0. The "°C" indicator lamp w lights up.
In the power stage mode, the preset power level of 1000 watts
appears on the display 0. The "P" indicator lamp q lights up.
5) To switch the hob 1 off, press the On/Off button

tor lamp 3 goes out.
NOTE
If no button is pressed within a 2-hour period, the appliance will switch
itself off even if the hob 1 is still working. If you wish to cook a dish for
more than two hours, or to keep food warm for more than two hours, adjust
the desired time using the timer (see the "Timer" section). In this way, times
of up to three hours can be set.
After switching off in standby mode, the appliance's fans continue to run
for a while to discharge the heat. As long as the hob 1 has a temperature
of more than 60°C, "- H -" will be shown on the display 0.
6) Pull the mains plug out of the mains socket if you no longer wish to use the
appliance.
CAUTION – PROPERTY DAMAGE!
Only pull the mains plug out of the mains socket once the fans have
stopped working, as the appliance might be damaged otherwise.
Safety cut-off
For safety reasons, the pan detection automatically switches the appliance
off (into standby mode) if you remove the cooking pot from the hob 1 or fail
to place a cooking pot on it.
If you remove the cooking pot from the hob 1, a signal tone will sound for
approx. one minute. The appliance will then switch off. If you place the cook-
ing pot back on the hob 1 within 1 minute, the previously defined settings
will be retained.
NOTE
As soon as you remove the cooking pot from the hob 1, "E0" will be
shown on the display. After approx. one minute, the "E0" disappears and
the appliance switches itself off. If the hob 1 is still at a temperature
higher than 60°C, "- H -" will appear on the respective display until the
temperature drops below 60°C.
