Handling and operation NOTE ► All functions can be used with the buttons on the device as well as with the remote control 25 . This section provides you with important information on handling and using the appliance. Switching the appliance on and off The main switch 8 disconnects the appliance fully from the mains power supply. ♦ Insert the power plug into a mains wall socket.
Switching on the fan The appliance has a fan which can be used to distribute heated air throughout the room more quickly. 14 or 27 to switch the fan on or off. ♦ Press the fan button If the fan is running, the „Fan“ symbol 11 appears on the display 2 . NOTE ► If the fan is switched off, the heat is concentrated more around the appliance and is not distributed so quickly around the room. Set heating time The appliance has a timer that you can use to set the desired heating time between 1 to 24 hours.
Frost protection function The appliance has a frost protection function that prevents the room temperature from falling below the frost line. 24 or 26 repeatedly until the ♦ Press the button for selecting the heat setting „Frost protection“ symbol 12 appears on the display 2 . NOTE ► As soon as the temperature in the immediate vicinity of the appliance falls under 5°C (41°F) the appliance will switch on automatically.
Disposal Disposal of the appliance Never dispose of the appliance in normal domestic waste. This product is subject to the provisions of the European WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) Directive 2012/19/EU. Bedienung und Betrieb HINWEIS ► Alle Funktionen können sowohl mit den Tasten am Gerät als auch mit der Fernbedienung 25 geschaltet werden. In diesem Kapitel erhalten Sie wichtige Hinweise zur Bedienung und Betrieb des Gerätes. Gerät ein- und ausschalten Mit dem Hauptschalter 8 wird das Gerät vollständig vom Stromnetz getrennt. ♦ Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in eine Steckdose. ♦ Schalten Sie als Erstes den Hauptschalter 8 ein bzw. als Letztes aus, wenn Sie das Gerät nicht mehr betreiben.
Ventilator einschalten Das Gerät besitzt einen Ventilator, um die erhitzte Luft schneller im Raum zu verteilen. 14 oder 27 , um den Ventilator ein- oder ♦ Drücken Sie die Ventilatortaste auszuschalten. 11 im Display 2 Bei eingeschaltetem Ventilator wird das Symbol „Ventilator“ angezeigt. HINWEIS ► Ist der Ventilator ausgeschaltet, dann konzentriert sich die Wärme mehr um das Gerät herum und wird nicht so schnell im Raum verteilt.
Frostschutzfunktion Das Gerät verfügt über eine Frostschutzfunktion, mit der verhindert wird, dass die Raumtemperatur unter die Frostgrenze fällt. 24 oder 26 so oft, bis das ♦ Drücken Sie die Taste für die Wahl der Heizstufe Symbol „Frostschutz“ 12 im Display 2 angezeigt wird. HINWEIS ► Sobald die Temperatur in unmittelbarer Nähe des Gerätes deutlich unter 5°C (41°F) fällt, schaltet sich das Gerät automatisch ein.
