Before use

Package contents and transport inspection

The appliance is supplied with the following components as standard:

▯ 1 convection heater SKD 2300 D4

▯ 1 remote control

▯ 1 CR2032 button cell

▯ 2 feet

▯ 4 screws for the feet

▯ These operating instructions

NOTE

► Check the package for completeness and for signs of visible damage.

► If any items are missing or damaged as a result of defective packaging or insuﬃcient

care during transportation, contact the Service hotline (see the chapter Service).

Set-up location requirements

For safe and trouble-free operation of the appliance, the set-up location must fulﬁl the

following requirements:

■ The appliance may only be operated in a vertical position and fully assembled.

■ The appliance must be placed on a ﬁrm, ﬂat and horizontal surface.

■ The minimum clearances between the housing and other objects must be main-

tained: 10 cm at the sides, 30 cm above and 50 cm in front.

■ Ensure that air can always enter and escape freely. Otherwise, there could be a

heat build-up in the appliance.

■ Do not place the appliance in a hot, wet or extremely moist environment or in the

vicinity of ﬂammable materials.

■ The mains power socket must be easily accessible so that the power cable can

be easily disconnected in an emergency.

DANGER

Fire risk due to contact with materials!

There is a risk of ﬁre if the heating elements come into contact with

ﬂammable materials!

► Do not place the appliance in the vicinity of curtains and other ﬂammable materials.

► Do not allow ﬂammable materials (i.e. textiles) to come into contact with the

appliance.

► Do not cover the appliance.
