Overheating protection
The appliance is fitted with a thermostat-controlled overheating protector. If the appli-
ance becomes too hot internally, the heating element switches off automatically. As
soon as the appliance has cooled down, the heating element switches back on.
WARNING
As a general rule, there is a reason for overheating! It can mean a
risk of fire!
Check that the appliance can sufficiently dissipate the heat generated: Is the
appliance covered or is it too close to a wall or other obstacle? Is the fan
blocked?
Check that neither the air inlet
5
nor the air outlet
3
is blocked and remove
the cause.
If possible, eliminate the problem or contact the Service Hotline (see the chap-
ter Service).
Even if you cannot find a cause, but the overheating protection triggers a
second time, you must return the appliance to Customer Services for inspection
or repair.
