■ The metal surfaces of the appliance can become hot.
Therefore, only hold the appliance by the handles

■ All repairs must be carried out by authorised specialist com-
panies or by the Customer Service department. Improper re-
pairs can pose significant risks to the user. It will also invali-
date any warranty claims.
■ Defective components must always be replaced with original
replacement parts. Only by using original replacement parts
can it be assured that the safety requirements are being com-
plied with.
■ Protect the appliance from penetration by moisture and liquids.
■ Always unplug the appliance from the mains power socket
before cleaning.
■ Always disconnect the power cable from the mains power
socket by pulling on the plug; never pull on the cable.
■ Avoid using extension cables.
■ Do not use the appliance in the vicinity of naked flames.
■ The appliance must not be placed immediately under or over
a mains power socket.
■ Do not use this heater together with a programmable switch,
a timer, a separate remote control system or any other system
which switches on the heater automatically, as this could lead
to a fire risk if the heater is covered or set up incorrectly.
■ Disconnect the plug from the mains power socket if the appli-
ance malfunctions and also during thunderstorms.
■ The appliance must not be used in the immediate vicinity of
a bath, a shower or a swimming pool.
■ The appliance is to be installed so that a person in the bath
or shower is unable to touch the switch and other controls.
■ Do not expose the appliance to spray and/or dripping water
and do not place any objects filled with liquid, such as vases
or open drink containers, on or near the appliance.
