De ventilatieopeningen worden afgedekt! Plaats de magnetron niet in de buurt van andere apparaten die warmte afgeven, zoals bijv. een oven. Reinig de magnetron na gebruik grondig na het verhitten van vethoudende gerechten, vooral als die niet waren afgedekt. Eventuele resten kunnen oververhit raken en in brand vliegen.
