Grill function
WARNING – RISK OF FIRE!
When using the grill function, do not use any form of lid or cookware that
is not heat resistant, as these could melt or set on fi re!
NOTE
Always use the grill stand t when grilling. This way you will achieve optimal
grilling results. Always place the grill stand t on the turntable 3.
There are 3 grill levels available:
Grill function "Top heat" (Gr 1):
With this function, the heat comes only from above. Only the upper grill is
activated. Therefore, this grill function is ideal for making topped sandwiches
and gratins.
Grill function "Bottom heat" (Gr 2):
With this function, the heat comes only from below. Only the lower grill is
activated. Therefore, this grill function is ideal for dishes or food that needs
to be cooked/grilled from below.
Grill function "Top and bottom heat" (Gr 3):
With this function, the heat comes from above and below. The upper and
lower grills are activated. This grill function is ideal for thin slices of meat,
steaks, rissoles, sausages or chicken pieces.
1) Press the grill button 7
once to activate the grill function.
The symbols for the grill function "top heat" and "Gr 1" appear on the
display 1.
2) Use the control dial r
to set the required grill function:
"Gr 1" for top heat,
"Gr 2" for bottom heat,
"Gr 3" for top and bottom heat.
Confi rm your selection by pressing the start/quick start button r .
3) Set the required cooking time with the control dial r
. The maximum
possible cooking time setting is 95 minutes.
4) To start the grill function, press the start/quick start button r
.
The display 1 shows the symbol for the selected grill function / / .
The programmed time counts down. When the set time has elapsed, "End" and
"Hot" will appear alternately on the display 1. You will hear a series of beeps.
