■ Store the Sandwich Maker at a dry location.
■ Wrap the power cable around the cable spool e of the cable retainer on the
rear of the appliance. Fix the cable in place using the cable clip (see fig. 1):

■ Clean the appliance as described in the chapter “Cleaning”.
Troubleshooting
Problem Cause Remedy
The appliance
does not function.
The plug is not inserted into
a mains power socket.
Connect the power cable
into a mains power socket.
The appliance is defective.
In this case, contact
Customer Services.
The sandwiches/
waffles/grilled
food are too dark.
The sandwiches/waffles/
grilled food were in the Sand-
wich Maker for too long.
Take the sandwiches/
waffles/grilled food out
a little earlier.
